Outreach Matters.
Safe Harbor has had the privilege of serving its community as both a church and an outreach center for nearly 25 years. Assisting those in need while showing the love of Christ every step of the way is of the utmost importance to the heart of this organization. Currently, our team partners with the Heart of Alabama Food Bank, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, and International Paper in order to provide the following outreach programs:
Monthly food supplement boxes are carefully provided to our recipients through the efforts of our volunteers and staff. (Monthly CSFP boxes for our senior recipients are also provided through this team.)
Dream Day
Significant amounts of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other supplemental groceries are given through our Mobile Pantry program once every other month.
